Statement by Randy Boissonnault – Time for a Strong Voice for Edmonton Centre
EDMONTON – Edmonton Centre Liberal Candidate Randy Boissonnault released the following statement on the beginning of Election 2021:
“With today’s announcement, Election 2021 is officially underway!
“While the election has just been called, here on the Edmonton Centre Liberal campaign we have already been working for months. With our incredible team of volunteers, we have knocked on thousands of doors and made thousands of phone calls to our neighbours, and we are ready to work over the next 36 days to ensure Edmonton Centre has a strong voice in government representing our values and delivering for our city.
“This election is a stark choice between two very different visions for our future, guided by very different values. On the one side is our Liberal government, which has been there for us – supporting businesses, supporting workers, supporting families, and supporting those that have needed help the most.
“On the other side are the conservative ideas and policies we have seen under Jason Kenney – turning their backs on families, on nurses and other frontline workers, and on our city. For them, “take personal responsibility” has always meant, you are on your own. I can tell you that when I knock on doors in Edmonton Centre, I hear that people do not want to double down on Jason Kenney by having Erin O’Toole in Ottawa.
“Together, we can embrace a better choice. We can deliver a stronger future, supporting families with affordable child care, supporting our economy with a strong plan for a recovery, and supporting innovation to prompt growth and create jobs.
“Let’s move forward, for everyone.”
